THESSALY, Pharsalus, (400-344 B.C.), silver drachm, (6.0 grams), obv. Athena head to right in close fitting helmet, ornamented with Scylla shading her eyes, TH behind, rev. horseman prancing to left, **FARS around horse, (cf.S.2191, BMC 9). Off centred and horn silver on the obverse, field scratches on the reverse, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
