BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES, first issue, uniface black and white printer's proof on thin paper, one pound, Auckland 18-, overprinted specimen in signature reserve, imprint Perkins Bacon & Co London Patent Hardened Steel Plate (L.416, P.S141, Robb 6a). Pencil instruction bottom margin '5th March 1862'. Some toning otherwise extremely fine.
