SICILY, Solus, (4th century B.C.), AE 12, 3.988 grams, Calciati 3 (p.309), Obv. head of Herakles to right, within lion skin, line border, Rev. hippocamp to right, line border. Dark green patina, off centred obverse as usual, with oblong shape. Very fine and very rare. (S.-, Calciati 3 (p.309), cf.SNG ANS 739 (Pl.25), SNG Munich 908 (Pl.27), cf.Gabrici 14-16 (p.168 these being much lighter), Very fine and very rare.
