RICHARD I (OR JOHN), (1189-1199), short cross silver penny, with partial reverse brockage, probably type 4b, rev. single pellet stops, ROBERD.ON.CA, (Roberd of Canterbury mint), (S.1348C [Richard I], SCBI 56 No,1077 [very similar reverse die, John]), Round, good fine and rare.

Mass in the SCBI 56, 'The Short Cross Coinage 1180-1247' places this series as issued from 1200-1204.
