AUSTRALIAN BANKS JOHNSTON/STONE (1983) FIFTY DOLLARS IN TEN FOLDED BUNDLES OF TEN NOTES EACH, printed as 'dummy notes' with electronic tracking device in centre of eight middle bundles with square cut out. Extremely fine.
Tellers would hold the packs with the hidder device to include in notes stolen during a robbery at the bank counter, allowing police to track and locate the notes and suspects.
