A HALLMARKED SILVER PENCIL HOLDER, cased, by Cartier, Bond Street, London, hallmarked London 1924, endorsed with initials 'EA' under a Coronet. Presented to 2693 John Francis Mack, 57th Btn A.I.F. a member of the Australian Army Mounted Escort. He performed duty as a mounted outrider escort during Royal Tours and was presented with this item for his services. Good very fine.
