MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), AE 18, uncertain mint, (6.274 grams), obv. Apollo head to right with tainia, rev. naked youth on horse, above **FILOPP[OU], below horse **P*, (cf.S.6696, SNG ANS 944-946 [Pl.33], SNG Greece II, 391-393 [Pl.XVI]). Bright bronze patina, good very fine and rare in this condition.
