SYRIA, Coele-Syria, Heliopolis, Valerian, (A.D. 253-260), AE 28, (16.390 grams), obv. laureate bust to right of Valerian, around, IMP CAES P LIC VALERIANVS P F AVG, rev. Agonistic urn, COL IVL AVG FEL to left and right, above CER DAC, in exergue CAPOEC ISE HEL, (cf.S.4505, cf.BMC 27-8 [p.294], SNG Cop. 439). Green earthy patina, nearly extremely fine and rare.
