GREAT BRITAIN, Elizabeth II, one pound, L.K. O'Brien (1960-1961), series C, 16K 043380 (P.374a, Duggleby B282) hand signed by L.K. O'Brien; another J.Q. Hollom (1962-1966) J31R 012667 (P.374c, Duggleby B288) hand signed by J.Q.Hollom. Very Rare, especially with the accompanying letter. Fine, nearly very fine. (2)
Sold with an accompanying letter dated 16th December 1976 from Rt. Hon Lord O'Brien of Lothbury, G.B.E. P.C. to Leopold de Rothschild Esq. stating he is returning the above one pound note after signing it and that if he wanted a 'cleaner' note with his Signature on it their friends at the Bank of England could probably find one and he would be happy to autograph that too.
