PAIR: Queen's South Africa Medal - three bars - Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal; King's South Africa Medal - two bars - South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902. 340 Pte. F.Shaw Queensland M.R. on first, 390 Ranger F.Shaw Cattle Rang. on second. Impressed. Very fine and very rare to Ranger.

Rangers served as mounted, armed stockmen protecting cattle. With copies of rolls confirming entitlement.
