KING'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL - TWO BARS - SOUTH AFRICA 1901, South Africa 1902. 313 Tpr. P.A.Killeen Pietersburg L.H. Impressed. Very fine and rare.

Pietersburg Light Horse was the name assigned to the regiment formerly known as the Bushveldt Carbineers, following a court of inquiry against seven of its officers and subsequent execution of two officers, Lt Morant and Lt Handcock. The regiment was disbanded at the cessation of hostilities in June 1902 having enlisted over 600 men.
