PETILLIUS CAPITOLINUS, (43 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.176 grams), obv. eagle on thunderbolt head to right, traces of PETILLIVS above, CAITOLINVS below, rev. S - F separated by temple of six columns, plain in exergue, (S.486, Cr.487/2b, Syd.1151, B. Petillia 3). Grey tone, slightly pitted and rough, otherwise nearly very fine and very scarce.
