TROAS, Alexandria Troas, (c.3rd century A.D.), AE 20, (4.316 grams), obv. turreted head of City-Goddess to right, behind vexillum inscribed AV over AL, around CO L [TROA], rev. horse standing to right, around COL AVG, in exergue TRO, (S.4917,Bellinger 486, BMC 50). Delightful dark brown patina, nearly extremely fine.
