EGYPT, Alexandria, Hadrian (A.D. 117-138), AE hemidrachm, year 19 = A.D. 134-135, (23.98 grams), obv. Hadrian bust with laureate head to right, around traces of AYT KAIC TPAIAN **AD*RINOC CEB, rev. Canopus (Osiris) standing upright, with crown and horns around traces of LENN EAK**D*, (cf.S.3801, Datt. 1658, Koln 1172, Milne 1477). Fine/good fine and very rare.

Ex Cornelius C. Vermeule III, whose Collection was sold in Triton III (lot 1661 part) for the benefit of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, with his ticket.
