Rome mint, (25.34 grams), obv. bare head to left of Drusus, around NERO CLAVDIVS DRVSVS GERMANICVS IM[P], rev. Claudius bare-headed seated to left on curule chair, wearing togate, holding branch, weapons and armour around, around TI CLAVDIVS CA[ESA]R AVG P M TR P IMP, S C below, (S.1896 [£200 F], RIC 93 [Claudius], BMC 157, C.8). Pitted in field both side, very fine portrait, otherwise fine and rare.
