VITELLUS, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, (2.878 grams), obv. laureate head right, A VITELLIVS GERM IMP AVG TR P around, rev. PONT MAXIM, Vesta on throne to right, (S.2200, RIC 107, RSC 72); Plautilla, cast silver denarius with unlisted reverse, together with several third and fourth century Roman antoninianii and folles etc., including Gallienus (2), Gordian III (2, one a copy), Victorinus, Probus, Diocletian, Maximianus, Constantine I (2), Licinius I 92), Constantius II (3), Constantine II, Valens, Byzantine (2), others (6). Poor - extremely fine, the first very good and scarce. (28)
