TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 98-99, (20.10 grams), obv. laureate head of Trajan to right, drapery on far shoulder, around IMP CAES NERVA TRAIAN AVG GERM P M, rev. Pax enthroned to left, holding olive branch and sceptre, around T R POT COS II, S C in exergue, (cf.S.3214 [£85 F], RIC 389, cf.C.590). Dark green patina, slightly off centred on reverse, otherwise good fine/fine and very scarce.
