VALENS, (A.D. 364-378), silver siliqua, Rome mint, (1.950 grams), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Valens to right, around DN VALEN S PF AVG, rev. VRBS ROMA around, Roma enthroned to left, holding spear and Victory, RQ. in exergue, (S.4113, RIC 11b, RSC 109.2). Grey tone, nearly very fine.
