GORDIAN III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianus, Antioch mint, issued 240-4, (4.376 grams), obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. FORTVNA REDVX around, Fortuna seated to left, no wheel under seat, (cf.S.2435, RIC 210, RSC 98a). Brilliant, off centred reverse, nearly uncirculated.
