ELAGABALUS, (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 218-9, (3.478 grams), obv. laureate bust of Elagabalus draped and cuirassed to right, around IMP CAES ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around FIDES EXERCITVS, Fides seated to left holding standard, another behind, (S.7511, RIC 68, RSC 30a). Nearly extremely fine.
