Mount Morris Station was taken up in the early 1870's and is located on the Langlo River about 120kms NW of Charleville. It had a large community of aborigines from the beginning of its formation, and its King then was Sambo. This plate was made by Mr Hill who was a well known blacksmith in Charleville in the 1870's.
