The first an extensive survey of Alexander the Great's coinage adding to the work of Martin Price. Part I re-examines the silver coinage from Amphipolis c.332-310 B.C., part II Alexander's lifetime gold coinage. A most important addition to the literature of this ruler. The second book is the standard work on this coinage from the mints, a listing of all known published examples of the coinage of Alexander the Great from Lampsacus and Abydus.
