MEXICO, Philip V (1700-46), eight reales or pillar dollar, Mexico City mint, 1745 FM (KM.103). Toned from prolonged submersion otherwise nearly very fine.

Ex 'Doddington' wrecked on the 17th July 1755, outward bound from England to Fort St. George. The lot comes with a certified certificate of Authenticity signed by Dive Director Grant Conradie.
