ANCIENT ROMAN, late third century - fourth century A.D., barbarous radiates 11-20 mm, imitating antoninianii of the following rulers Victorinus, Claudius II, Tetricus I and Tetricus II, all with radiate bust right or left, (S.Vol.III, P.413). A wide range of these issues as found on Roman sites throughout the former Western Provinces and were apparently produced in Gaul, Britain, Spain and possibly North Africa. Mostly toned, generally fine - very fine or better. (33)

Most of the 3rd century coins from the 'Blackmoor' Hoard and all the 4th century issues from the 'Newark' hoard. All coins are mounted on cards and briefly described.
