THEOPHILUS, (829-842), silver Miliaresion, Class III issued 830-1-838, broad flan, (4.37 grams), probably a copy (cf.S.1661); Constantine VII and Romanus I, (A.D. 913-959), silver miliaresion, obv. cross potent on three steps with medallion with facing bust of Romanus I, rev. five lines of legend, (S.1755, DOC 20, BMC 42); another without medallion (S.1757, DOC 21, BMC 67); Andronicus & Michael IX, (1295-1320), silver basilkon, obv. Christ facing, labarum between, them, (S.2402). All with faults, good - fine, some with weakness, broken edges or field damage. (4)
