ATTICA, Athens, (150-140 B.C.), AE 18, hemiobol, (5.83 grams), obv. head of Zeus to right, wearing taenia, rev. Athena Polias standing to right with shield and hurling thunderbolt, A/**Q* to left E to right, ear of wheat to left, coiled snake to right, (S.-, Sv.Pl.22, 55; Kroll (Athenian Agora) 89 [p.72, Pl.9, 23 examples found], BMC 582-3). Attractive brown patina, very fine, scarce.
