PELOPONNESOS, Sicyonia, Sicyon, c.303 B.C., AE 15 or dichalkos, (3.486 grams), obv. dove flying to left, rev. TE in large letters in olive wreath tied below, (cf.S.2780, Warren Group 5 2nd Series 8a, BCD 315.1, BMC 153, McClean 6294). Brown patina, very fine and rare.
Ex BCD Collection, previously acquired from Brian Kritt via J.Kagan in late 1986 ($75US).
