EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IX Soter and Cleopatra III, (116-107 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, Alexandria mint, struck year 6 = 112-111 B.C., (13.36 grams), obv. head of Ptolemy to right with aegis, rev. eagle to left on thunderbolt with closed wings, to left LC, to right **PA*, around **BASILEWS [PTOLE]MAIOU**, (cf.S.7921, Sv.1667, SNG Cop.351). Uneven tone, very fine or better and very scarce.
