HADRIAN (A.D. 117-138), AE dupondius, issued 118, (12.51 grams), obv. radiate draped bust with drapery on far shoulder of Hadrian to right, around IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG, rev. in exergue ADVENTVS AVG, around PONT MAX TR POT COS TI, Roma seated to right on cuirass and shield, resting on spear held in left hand, clasping right hand with Hadrian standing to left, S C in exergue, (S.3654, RIC 554, C.92, BMC 1138). Tiber patination with several flan cracks, otherwise very fine or better and rare.
