SICILY, Syracuse, (c.478-472 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.29 grams), obv. slow quadriga driven to right by male charioteer, Nike flying right crowning horses, rev. **SU*R**AKOSION around to right, head of Artemis-Arethusa to right, diadem of beads, four dolphins around, (cf.S.914, Boehringer 261 same dies [obverse 118/reverse 179], Randazzo Hoard 437-8, dies not in SNG ANS). Good very fine and a very rare die combination.

Boehringer notes one example only from these dies.
