Macedonian shield with gorgon's head as the central device, rev. elephant walking to right, horizontal anchor above, below in exergue **[B]ASILEW[S], traces of **ANTIOCOU* underneath, K monogram between elephant legs, (cf.S.6881, SC 1089.3c, Newell WSM 795, SNG Israel (Spaer) 272 [Antiochus I]). Brown tone, good very fine and rare.
