VALENS, (A.D. 364-378), silver siliqua, Treveri mint, issued A.D. c. 367-375 (2.354 grams), obv. pearl-diademed head of Valens to right, around DN VALEN S PF AVG, rev. VRBS ROMA, Roma seated to left on throne holding spear and Victory on globe, TRPS. in exergue, (S.4113, RIC 27b, RSC.109c). Dark tone, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
