BOEOTIA, Federal Coinage, struck at Thebes, (338-315 B.C.), silver hemidrachm, (2.490 grams), obv. Boeotian shield, rev. amphora with letter BO IO either side, above a thunderbolt, (cf.S.2396, BMC 30, SNG Cop. 172). Well centred, nearly very fine and very scarce.
