VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, probably Ephesus mint, issue of A.D. 71, (3.122 grams), obv. IMP CAESAR VESPAS AVG COS II TRP PP, laureate head to right, rev. AVG within oak wreath, (cf.S.2265, RIC 319, RSC 37a). Off centred reverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and a rare type.
