AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 19 B.C. (3.706 grams), obv. head of Honos to right, with features resembling Augustus, around M DVRMIVS III VIR HONORI, rev. CAESAR AVGVSTVS around a slow quadriga to the right, car a basket with flower, SC in exergue, (S.1594/1601, RIC 313, RSC 429, BMC 55). Lightly toned, nearly very fine and very rare.

The moneyer M. Durmius struck several types and this variety is the rarest.
