GETA, (A.D.209-212), issued as Caesar 199, silver denarius, Laodicea mint, (2.792 grams), obv. P SEPTIMVS GETA CAES, bare-headed draped and cuirassed bust to right, rev. around MINERV SANCT, Minerva standing frontal. head to left, leaning on shield and holding reversed spear, (S.7181, BMC 750, RIC 105a, RSC 83). Slightly off centred obverse, otherwise nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
