INDIA, George VI, watermarked paper used to print five and ten rupees (P.17, 18) in 1943? the paper clearly shows the watermark "Reserve Bank of India", the denomination and the Portrait of Kng George VI facing right. A few light creases otherwise extremely fine. (2)

This watermarkd Banknote paper was lost en route to the Indian Printing works at Nasik During W.W.II due to enemy action.
