MALAYA, Japanese Occupation, various bank cheques, The Chartered Bank of India Australia & China, Penang Branch dated 2602 (1942); another Penang Branch undated, another Taiping Branch, Malaya branch; another `Singapore' Branch overprinted "Penang" together with merchants oval stamp "G.H. Goh, Church St. Penang" bottom right; The Ho Hong Bank Limited, Penang Branch overprinted in red "Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation, Successors to ..." all with "Stamp Duty Paid" ink rubber or printed stamps, all unissued, interesting group. Very fine - extremely fine. (5 cheques)
