TITUS, under Vespasian as Caesar, (A.D. 69-79), AE dupondius, Samosata in Commagene mint, issued A.D. 74, (12.49 grams), obv. laureate head of Titus to right, around T CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG, rev. around TR POT COS III CENSOR, winged caduceus between crossed cornucopiae, (S.2472 [This Coin Illustrated], RIC 813a, BMC 891, cf.C.326). Dark brown patina, good very fine and rare.
