HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, issued 136, Rome mint, (3.324 grams), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian, around HADRIANVS AVG COS III PP, rev. GERMANIA around, Germania standing facing holding spear and resting on shield, (S.3496, RIC 302, RSC 805). Toned, nearly very fine, and a scarce type.
