Roma seated to left holding Victory and sceptre, around ROMAE AETERNAE, (S.8952, RIC 44b, RSC 169); Philip II, (as Caesar), (A.D. 244-247), silver antoninianius, Rome mint, issued 245-6, (4.210 grams), obv. radiate bust to right, around M IVL PHILIPPVS CAES, rev. Philip in military dress standing right, holding globe and spear, around PRINCIPI IVVENT, (S.9240, RIC 218d, RSC 48). Very fine or better. (3)
