KINGS OF BOSPHOROS, Sauromates I (93/4 - 123/4), copper 48 units, (10.68 grams), obv. curule chair with a wreath above, sceptre with bust of emperor and shield, rev. MH within wreath, (cf.S.5457, MacDonald 357, BMC 24 [P.60]). Very fine and scarce.

Ex Dr Garth Drewry Collection and previously from Antioch Associates List 70, No.240 with his envelope.
