CRISPINA, wife of Commodus, (married A.D. 177), AE dupondius/as, issued 177-180, Rome mint, (14.87 grams) obv. draped bust to right of Crispina, around CRISPINA AVG[VSTA], rev. Juno standing left, holding patera and sceptre, around IVNO LVCINA, S C across field, (S.1694, RIC 680, C.24). Brown patination with some attached green patina, weakness on obverse legend, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
The weight suggests the coin is a dupondius.
