BOMBAY PRESIDENCY, machine struck issue, Surat Mint type, but struck at Calcutta 1823-1824, in the name of Shah Alam II (A.H. 1173-1221, A.D. 1759-1806), regnal year 46, with complete impression of die and the date A.H. 1215 (A.D. 1800), silver rupee, edge grained vertically, (Pr. 284, KM.222). Extremely fine and rare, with attractive tone.
