PAIR: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899 - four bars - Cape Colony, Transvaal, Wittebergen, South Africa 1901; Silver Jubilee Medal 1935. 151 Tpr. W.Nation South Aus. I.B. on the first medal (re-named), the second medal un-named. Impressed. Very fine.

Trooper Wylie Nation, South Australian Imperial Bushmen. Enl. 23Apr1900. Member of the South Australian Police Force, eventually attaining rank of Metropolitan Superintendent (1936). Together with large volume of research, including biography by A.Rudd (22pp), contemporary and modern photographs (many), copies of rolls, family correspondence, geneological research, copies of contemporary newspapers, contingent research, copy of service record (part), marriage certificate and police records. Ex Anthony Rudd Collection.
