NEW SOUTH WALES MILITARY FORCES, lion patterned slouch hat brim fastner in gilt brass. Also used on top rear of helmets to hold chin scales when not in use. Universal type used throughout colonies (39mm high). Seated on a perspex display slab. Extremely fine.
