NEW SOUTH WALES - SOUTH AUSTRALIA - VICTORIA, River Murray Steam Navigation and Commerce, in bronze (77mm) struck in England by the Royal Mint (L.C.Wyon). Extremely fine and extremely rare.

Ex Philip Kennedy Collection 1973 (lot M8). Three gold medals were struck one for each of the following, Captain Francis Cadell, the Governor Sir Henry Fox Young and one to be held with records of the Legislature of South Australia. None of these gold medals seem to have survived. Less than six of the original bronze medals have been recorded.
