SYDNEY BRANCH OF THE ROYAL MINT, established 1855, George V Medal, in silver (41mm) (C.G/4) inscribed around edge 'A.M. Le Souef'. With case of issue. Edge bruise on obverse at 5 o'clock, otherwise extremely fine.

A.M. Le Soueff was the Deputy Master of the Melbourne Mint who had been in charge of the closing down of the Sydney Mint in 1926.
