CHINA, Tang Dynasty (618-907) or later, large charm, in brass, obv. with small four characters around, legend reads "Kai yuan tong bao" (The Inaugural currency), rev. dragon and phoenix", diameter 54mm, 37.0 grams. (Sch. -, Hartill -, cf.TFP 707 [for obverse but smaller]). Good very fine and rare.
