FRANCE, Auxerre, (Burgundy), Counts of Auxerre, anonymous issue (11-12th century), silver denier, issued from 11th century, obv. legend around cross, + AVTSIODER CI. rev. cross with four groups of three pellets at ends of cross, (cf.P.d'A Pl.136, 1, cf.Boudeau 1731, Roberts 4452). Fine - very fine, rare.
